James Bond (codenamed 007) is a hugely popular film star, an action spy and a great series of films in their own right. James Bond is a character thought up by Ian Flemming, who in 1952 created the long lasting British Agent who was to star in his novels. Ian Flemming is a world famous author who apart from his acclaimed work on the spy series James Bond, has also written other spy books.
Featuring in 12 novels was not enough for the character James Bond, who was quickly adapted into a world famous movie series. More so 007 has also been re-written by a whole host of other spy authors taking on the spy's codename for their stories. The movie series has produced some of the finest James Bond Collectables, but the James Bond Concept as a whole is one that is very familiar to uk audiences.
As of 2007 a total of twenty one films featuring 007 (James bond) have been released, each with a completely different plot and a formidable bad guy who always wishes to reign terror on the world. As well as the cars the 007 film series always features a beautiful woman or two for James Bond to seduce, as well as other vehicles such as yachts', quads, motorbikes, planes, lorries, helicopters, parachutes and stealth boats. James bond Watch's are also commonly featured as are other hand held gadgets usually provided by a character named Q.
